About Me!
My name is Amber Marie Griffith (she/her) and I am a student at Carnegie Mellon University's School of Computer Science. Over the years, I have taken steps to not only absorb the rigorous technical knowledge of my coursework, but also practice soft skills such as leadership, group cooperation, and oral and written communication. In addition to my strong math and logic background through programming, I have strong problem-solving and creativity skills as shown through my artwork.

I have developed a diverse professional background throughout my time at university. I have held multiple formal leadership roles that have developed my organization and communication skills. In May 2019, I participated in the LeaderShape Institute to further develop these skills. Personally, I believe that it's important to apply leadership practices in everything I does by taking initiative and driving forward.
I see myself as a jack-of-all-trades who can pick up on new skills as needed. I have 8 years of programming experience in over 10 programming languages and am always continuing to learn. My primary art medium is digital art using her iPad and the Procreate app, but I has recently expanded my technical creativity to include graphic design, Unity, 2D animation, video editing, and model rigging.
